Pre-Kindergarten

Dear Landing Families,

October has arrived in the blink of an eye! The first month of school at Landing has been a whirlwind of excitement and enjoyable activities. We kicked off this past month with a lively Welcome Back Celebration, courtesy of our fantastic PTA, complete with ice pops during lunch and a celebration after school with popcorn. Then, we had the pleasure of opening our doors to families during Open School Night. We then wrapped up the month marching in the annual Homecoming Parade, and celebrated our first Free Book Friday of the school year, allowing students to choose a book to take home and enjoy.

As part of our commitment to social emotional learning at Landing, each month, we center our attention on a different character trait as a school. For October, our theme is "respect", or caring how words and actions may impact others. We encourage families to engage in conversations with your child, exploring ways they can demonstrate respect in various settings, both within and beyond our school community.

We're eagerly anticipating another fantastic month together as a Landing Family. Your continuous partnership and support are greatly appreciated!

Warm regards,

Jacklyn Burnett
